The Red Ribbon Ball is an event created and produced by Pete King to mark World AIDS Day in Tucson. It consistes of a show at the Rialto Theatre and a dance party at Zen Rock nightclub.
100% of all proceeds from the sale of tickets to the dance benefit SAAF, the Southern Arizona AIDS Foundation. Proceeds from the sale of tickets to "A John Waters Christmas" are split between SAAF and the Rialto Theatre Foundation.
How You Can Help
The most important thing we can all do is promote the event and get our friends to attend.
Here are two ways to do that:
Create your own Red Ribbon Ball "Party Group!"
Pull a group of friends together, gather at someones house for your own pre-party or meet out for dinner. Make it fun — dress up in red, wear red ribbons or create matching outfits.
